From the very beginning of the Internet Protection Agency, we have been committed to helping parents find the solutions they need to protect their families from the evils of the Internet.  A major role of the IPA is education but after a parent becomes aware of how bad the situation is, they always want the solutions.  We believe that there is no magic answer. Nothing beats good parenting when it comes to protecting your kids and we want to help arm you with the best solutions out there.

After years of arresting predators, working with the victims of predators and giving Internet Safety presentations to teens and parents, we have researched the best solutions at great length. Some of the solutions we felt were desperately needed we couldn't find anywhere, so we created them. Some solutions, such as monitoring software, are absolutely necessary.  We are not a software company, so we worked with the best in the country (Spectorsoft) and put them on our site for parents.

The truth is that protecting your family from the dangers of the Internet is not simple and we feel a multi-level approach should be utilized.  The worst thing a parent can do is just put a website blocker on their browser and think that they are safe.  Website blockers and other tools like this have their place and we are not suggesting not to use one, but just one thing is not going to protect your family.  Believe us when we say that kids know there way around solutions such as blockers and that really gives them free reign while you think that they are safe.
