Week of 03/01-04/11
Well I'm sure you can see all the work we have been doing to the website. That has really been consuming alot of our time this past month. I guess our biggest announcement for this month is our partnership with WAFB channel 9 and Neighbors Federal Credit Union. We have been working with both companies for a while and we are happy to see all of our hard work come to fruition. It is extremely important to us to build relationships with like minded companies. Neighbors Federal Credit Union and WAFB are definitely that. From day one they both knew that the battle the IPA faces against these people that prey on our children was worth fighting. We are very proud of our new relationship, so be on the look out for our commercials running on WAFB. We will also be doing Internet Safety Presentations with our partners(Neighbors Federal Credit Union and WAFB) for the local schools, so look out for those to. We worked with the Louisiana State Police and the Rapides Parish Sheriff's office on a Internet sting this month. It was very successful with several arrests and several still to be made. So we want to say thanks to everyone involved. At the end of this month we will be doing Internet Safety presentations at South Beauregard High and Pinewood Elementary in Beauregard Parish. We look forward to meeting you all. We will be announcing a date for our first ever webcast coming up in May. We are really excited about it! One of many topics covered will be what our teens face on the Internet today. We feel the best way to demonstrate this is to pose as a teen right in front you. I promise, you will be shocked at what our teens are exposed to. You don't want to miss it. Until next time, be safe. |
Week of 02/01-03/03
This month we traveled to Brandon, Florida to give our Internet Safety Presentation to the Bell Shoals Baptist Church and School. The turn out was great and we could not have been treated better. Thanks again to Brother Bob for all of his spiritual guidance and love for our cause. We also gave our Internet Safety Presentation to Vandebilt High School in Houma, La. Thanks to all of the High School students and parents for making us feel right at home.

Week of 01/01-01/31 We are very excited about the new year. I want to start off by thanking everyone at the Beauregard Parish school system for hosting two great days of Internet safety presentations. We had a great time and feel we really made some students think about their online activities. We have so many plans for 2008, and without letting the cat out of the bag, lets just say be checking back often for all the new things we have coming. Many relationships are being built and we can't wait to see how many parents we can awaken and kids we can save in the new year. |
Week of 12/10-12/28 Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us at the Internet Protection Agency.
The last few weeks have been hard work. The IPA partnered with the Louisiana State Police to conduct a undercover Internet operation. The operation was very successful, with 4 arrests and 3 pending. The holidays are a very vulnerable time for our youth. They are off school and the predators know they will be online. Please spend time with your children this holiday season and keep them safe online.

Week of 10/22-11/02
Many things have happened the last two weeks to keep the IPA busy. The last full week of October, we did Internet Safety Presentations for the Kiwanis Club, First Baptist Church in Kentwood, and Central Catholic High School. Thanks to everyone who participated in those events. Toby and I helped the Sheriff of Tangipahoa parish in the Annual Fraternal Order of Police Chili Cook off. Money raised went to help our police brothers and I have to admit, Toby's chili was off the chart good. The next week was dedicated to our first Undercover Internet Operations course held at the Louisiana State Police Headquarters. The training went incredible. Of course my baby girl, Olivia Grace decided to be born last week so I was at the hospital most of it. To all who are concerned she weighs 6 lbs.14 ounces and she is doing great. Special thanks to Toby for doing an awesome job pulling more than his share. Thanks Buddy |

This past two weeks we have been working on launching our total solution 'the Chain Network'. We are so excited that we have built a partnership with the nations number one monitoring software company, Spector Soft. We have always known that they were the best. This week, after working with them one on one, we found out why. Their heart is in the right place. They have the same passion of protecting children as we do. I want to take this opportunity to thank them for working with us and being apart of our fight. On another note, we helped assist the Tangipahoa Sheriff's Office, St Landry Sheriff's Office, and Jefferson Davis Sheriff's Office in arresting 6 on suspected child pornography charges. Great work to everyone who helped. |
